Antique Waltham Traveler Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed American Waltham, USA, Traveler and it has the serial number 19,210,955 which dates it back to 1913. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover; there is a 2.5cm scratch to the inner cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is beautifully detailed to both the front and back, with a vacant cartouche to the front.

The winding crown is pushed to open the front cover which reveals the watch glass which is in very nice condition.

The enamel dial is in lovely condition too with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
