Antique Waltham Traveler Full Hunter Pocket Watch and Chain

Description

Antique Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed American Waltham, USA, Traveler and it has the serial number 19,329,548 which dates it back to 1913. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. The case is in very good condition for its age with just general light surface marks.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial has a very faint short hairline crack on number 4 but it is only visible through a magnifying loupe.

The watch comes with a double albert, with each chain measuring 25cm long including the clasp and the short chain and T-bar.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
