The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The movement is stamped Kingston Watch Co. Swiss, seventeen 17 jewels unadjusted.

The watch was originally made as a gents watch but would suit a slimmer wrist and also work as a ladies watch. The watch measures 29 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 36 mm high including the lugs. The silver case is stamped I/D Watch Case Co. Sterling. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is plastic and has the odd minor mark but overall it is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Kingston, shockproof, antimagnetic with Swiss at the bottom. The dial has light surface marking although it has a good vintage look.

The watch has its original blued steel hands and red centre second sweep. ( originally the hour and minute hands would have luminous infill although it has come out over the years ).
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
