Antique Silver Swiss Stem Winding Pocket Watch.

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique silver Swiss stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 – 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The jewelled movement is unsigned.

The watch measures 50.5 mm excluding the stem. The silver case has Swiss .935 silver marks.

The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" to the bezel and side. The case back has a mild unevenness but overall it is in nice condition for its age.

The glass watch lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial has faint hairline cracks to the bottom and a small nibble under the bezel between 1 & 2 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
