French Black Marble Clock Barometer

Description

A Large French polished Belgium slate mantel clock. It has a break arch top case, scroll sides and a block base, engraved and inlaid with malachite.It has a two piece enamel dial with a jewelled visible escapement that rocks in motion with the swinging pendulum. Below the clock is a barometer with an enamel dial, bothe the clock and barometer have thick bevel edge glass. The clock strikes the hours and halves on a bell and is of 8 day duration with one wind.

Current Condition

The case is in good condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking and working please email us.
