Westminster Chime Mantel Clock.

1900 - 1920
Description

An attractive oak cased mantel clock by CURTIS & HORSPOOL of LEICESTER.

The 8 day movement strikes on the quarters, playing the Westminster Chimes. It is fitted with a STRIKE/SILENT lever.

The swept top case is nicely polished with a warm, rich patina. It is fitted with spiral twist columns to the front and has an arched opening door with thick bevelled glass. It stands on 4 brass bun feet.

The arched, silvered dial has black Roman numerals and subsiduary dials for SLOW/FAST and STRIKE/SILENT.

The clock has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff.
