Swedish Mora Longcase Clock (Sweden, C. 1840)

Description

a Swedish longcase clock from the Mora district in Sweden. It has a waisted shape case with a balloon hood. The solid pine case , originally painted has been limed. It has a painted dome dial, with original brass hands, fitted with a replacement battery movement ( due to parts missing from the original), which can be supplied with the clock.

Current Condition

The case has been stripped and limed. 12 months guarantee on movement.

63.00cm wide 193.00cm high 13.00cm deep (24.80 inches wide 75.98 inches high 5.12 inches deep)
