Antique Waltham Bond St Pocket Watch & Chain

Description

An antique Waltham Bond Street pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, signed A M Watch Co, Waltham, Mass, USA, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The serial number on the movement is 9,226,144 which dates it back to 1899. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just some light unevenness to the back.

The watch glass is in good order too with just minor nibbles around the edge.

The enamel dial is lovely condition.

The watch comes with a small double watch chain, 19cm long including the T-bar and the clasps.
