Good French Carriage Clock by Leroy Et Fils

Description

A very good quality late 19th century French CARRIAGE CLOCK in perfect condition and in full working order by Leroy et Fils of Paris.

The case is gilded and of "Cannalee" design with stepped base and bevelled oval glass panel to the top. The 8-day movement strikes hours & half-hours on a gong, repeating hours at will with an additional alarm train.

The good lever platform escapement is original, whilst the enamel dial is perfect. Signed to both movement and dial with Leroy's Paris and London (Regent Street) addresses. Guaranteed for at least two years.
