Antique Fleurier Silver Pocket Watch, 1919

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Fleurier silver pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Fleurier Watch Co, and it is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 47.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London (import mark), 1919, with an importer’s mark of GS for George Stockwell. Nice engine turned detail to the case back and a small vacant cartouche to the centre.

The glass is in good order.

The white enamel dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
