Gents 1920s Roamer Cushion Cased Wrist Watch

Description

A gents 1920s Roamer cushion cased wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Roamer.

The watch measures 29mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the lugs. The case is rolled gold. The case is in good condition for a 1920s piece; there are some minor marks to the front and some scratches to the back but overall it is very acceptable.

The lens is in good order.

The signed dial has a stylish 1920s sunburst pattern and very handsome blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
