A Vintage 1940s Vertex Stem Winding Pocket Watch

Description

A vintage 1940s Vertex stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 1 – 2 minutes over a 24 hour period. The high grade movement is signed Vertex Revue, 15 jewels, Swiss made and the calibre number 30.

The watch measures 50.3 mm diameter excluding the stem. The chrome plated case has light surface marking from use and the case back has surface scratches and mild denting.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Vertex with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
