1930s Vale Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A vintage 1930s Vale stem winding pocket watch

The watch has a Swiss stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped Swiss Made, 15 Jewels.

The watch measures 50.2 mm diameter excluding the stem. The stainless steel case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is in good order with only the odd minor mark.

The dial is signed Vale, Anti-Magnetic, Swiss Made. It has faint surface marking but otherwise it is in nice condition, and it has its original blued steel Breguet style hands.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
