1940s Ww2 Cyma Gstp Stem Winding Pocket Watch

Description

1940s WW2 Cyma GSTP stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding Swiss movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is signed Cyma, 15 jewels, patented, Swiss made.

The watch measures 51.8 mm diameter excluding the stem. The chrome plated case has some wear and pitting from use although it has a good vintage look. The case back is stamped with the military arrow and G.S.T.P. M61854.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Cyma with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has faint hairline cracks to the edge between 7 & 9 o’clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has later blued steel hands although vintage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
