Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Timepiece Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality Edwardian solid mahogany mantel clock. It has a pagoda shaped top, a front panel inlaid with chequered stringing and an art Nouveau inspired inlaid decoration.It has a fine embossed brass bezel, bevel edge glass, and enamel chapter ring and an engine turned centre piece. The case has brass lion mask handles and brass ogee bracket feet.It has a French 8 day movement with a cylinder platform.

Current Condition

The case is is in excellent original condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.

1.00cm wide 24.00cm high 10.00cm deep (0.39 inches wide 9.45 inches high 3.94 inches deep)
