Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch, 1927

1900 - 1920
Description

A 1920s Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Waltham, USA, and it has the serial number 26,134,598 which dates it back to 1927. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated case was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just general light surface marks and some shallow indentations but nothing too serious.

The watch glass is in good order.

The signed white dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
