Frankland’s “Audrey” English Lever Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Frankland’s “Audrey” English Lever pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, with seven jewels, which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Sun model from the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison.

The watch glass is in good order with just a small nibble to the bevelled edge.

The enamel dial is in good condition too with just a little discolouration to the subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel hands and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
