Antique Tacy Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique full hunter pocket watch by Tacy (The Tacy Watch Company was a collaboration between Cyma And Tavannes watch companies).

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem, crown and loop. The full hunter case was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has some surface marks and the odd small indentation but overall it is very acceptable for a piece which dates back to around the 1910s.

The plastic lens is in good condition.

The white dial is in good order and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
