Description

A gents 1950s Harman wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, with 17 jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Harman Watch Co inc, seventeen 17 jewels, Swiss.

The watch measures 31.5 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The stainless steel case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back is stamped all stainless steel, shock resistant, antimagnetic, Cased and timed by precision watch craftsmen, and water resistant although with any vintage watch I would not rely on it being water resistant.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed Harman, waterbloc. The dial has light surface marking to the outer edge but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands and red center second sweep.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.
