Description

Top quality Winterhalder & Hofmeier Architectural Shaped Oak 8 day Quarter Striking Mantle Clock.

Circa 1880-1900 with 2 subsidiary dials (Chime & Silent & Rise and Fall for fast & slow speed control. Attractive brass dial with silvered chapter ring. Finely carved freezes and corinthian columns to the case. Silk covered inside to the two side doors , again with excellent carved fretwork.

Quality 8 day movement strikes the quarters on "Ting Tang" and the appropriate Hour on the O'clock.

Approx Sizes:

Height: 16.2in or 41cm

Width at Top: 11.25in or 28.8cm

Trunk Width: 9.9in or 25.2cm

Base Width: 12.33in or 31.00cm

Depth: 8in or 23.3cm
