Thomas Russell Full Hunter Pocket Watch & Chain

Description

A 1920s Thomas Russell full hunter pocket watch and chain

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The full hunter case is gold filled and was manufactured by the Illinois Watch Case Company. It is in good condition with just general light surface marks and rubs, and a little unevenness.

The watch glass is in good order.

The signed dial is in lovely condition too with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes on a gold plated double watch chain ... each chain measures 19.5cm long including the clasp.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
