Regency 8 Day Peterborough Longcase

Description

Very Attractive Oak and Mahogany with Inlays longcase clock by Garrett of Peterborough – probably John circa 1830 or alternatively William circa 1840.

Well maintained 8 day movement – recently stripped, cleaned and oiled - Fully Working.

Painted Dial with Delight images of a Shepherdess and her Sheep. As with the rest of the clock this is in good overall condition with only a few minor age related blemishes.

Max Hood Width 20.5in or 52cm

Trunk 14.5in or 36.8cm

Max Base Width 20.5in or 52cm

Depth 9.5in or 24.2cm
