The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch measures 46.5mm diameter. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks for 900 silver inside the hinged case back, together with a previous owner's scratched name. The case is nicely detailed and the condition is good for a 1930s piece; there is a little gentle unevenness to the case back.
The lens is a later replacement plastic lens.
The dial has stylish Art Deco appeal with the 3-D bricks design, ornate hour and minute hands and an outer minute track. There is a little discolouration to the dial but overall it has a delightful vintage style.
