Gents Omega Wrist Watch, 1952

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents Omega wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 283, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute over 24 hours. The movement is signed Omega, Swiss and it has the serial number 13,092,160 which dates it back to 1952.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and the inside of the snap-on case back has the Omega triangular stamp together with the case reference 2496 10 which is correct for the calibre 283 movement. The winding crown has the Omega logo.

The signed dial has the applied Omega logo, original dauphine hands and a centre seconds hand. There is a little marking to the dial but it is not too detrimental at all.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.
