For sale is this rare Smiths Delux 15 jewel Everest watch, 1953. This fine watch is in good unrestored condition and is the version used by Smiths to promote thier sales on the conquest of Everest by Sir Edmond Hilary in 1953. There is a lot of information on the web about the Smiths Delux including details relating to the Dennison Aquatite case back. The case number and movement number are consistant to 1953. Very rare and desirable coming from an age when Great Britian still was a major force and at the cutting edge.
