The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is beautifully detailed, a good sign of quality.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is in good condition for its age with just the odd minor mark, and some gentle unevenness to the hinged back. The inside of the case back is signed Tièche-Gammeter Switzerland. In 1916 MST bought Tièche-Gammeter who were makers of high quality lever escapements - with medals awarded at various international expositions. They continued to produce pocket watches under the Tièga brand name until the late 1930s.

The watch glass is in good order.
The gold coloured dial has a most handsome sunburst effect which has a beautiful 3-D effect when moved. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a later chain, 39cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
