The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back and the movement cover for London (import mark), 1918, with an importer's mark for George Stockwell. The watch has a small indentation to the back but otherwise is in good condition for its age.

The plastic lens has light marks and slight age related discolouration but is acceptable.
The white enamel dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There are some hairline cracks.
