The movement is signed Reid & Sons, Newcastle on Tyne. By appointment to the Queen & Prince of Wales.

The watch measures 51.1 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The silver case has Chester hallmarks for 1901 with the case makers mark T.A.R F.J.L C.L.R. Reid & Sons (Thomas Arthur Reid, Francis James Langford & Christian Leopold Reid)

The case has light surface marks from use and a mild unevenness to the back although it is in nice condition for a 1901 piece.
The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The dial is signed Reid & Sons, Newcastle upon Tyne. The dial has faint hairline cracks but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
