Description

A vintage 1930s gents Ingersoll curvex wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped Ingersoll, fifteen 15 jewels, Swiss made, model AC12 and the serial number 51469.

The watch measures 20.5 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 39.2 mm high including the lugs. The plated case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The stainless steel case back is stamped Ingersoll Foreign. and the patent number 2069453.

The lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Ingersoll with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has light discolouring but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original hands with age related surface marking.

The watch has a new black leather strap.
