Lady's Antique Fob Watch and Albertina

A Victorian lady's fob watch and albertina.

The fob watch has a key-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. A winding key will be included. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 39mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is nicely detailed on the back and the overall condition is good with just the odd mark, but nothing serious. A past owner has scratched their name to the inside of the case back.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The beautiful silvered dial has gold coloured raised Roman numerals and raised gold coloured leaves and ribbons around the perimeter. There are some surface marks but again, nothing too noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch comes on an antique albertina, stamped 'solid silver' on the clasp. One of the rope chains has broken over the years and has had a small 'home made' repair. The small fob, which is just 16mm diameter, has the Lord's Prayer in raised lettering.
