Lady's Antique Fob Watch with Later Chain

Description

A lady's antique fob watch with later chain.

The fob watch has a key winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. A winding key is included with the watch. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 39mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The white metal case (which is probably a low purity silver) is in lovely condition, and it has exquisite detailing to the back.

The lens is a later plastic replacement; it is in lovely condition.

The enamel dial is in super condition and it has a very pale lilac band running through the Roman numerals. Pretty blued steel hands.

The watch comes with a much later pretty albertina, stamped '925' for silver.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
