A vintage 1920s Swiss gold filled pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 3 - 4 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped 17 jewels, 4 adjustments, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.6 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is stamped Illinois Watch Case Co, Elgin, U.S.A. This case guaranteed to be made of two plates of gold with plate of composition betweenand to wear 20 years. The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of small dents to the back but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial has Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has a later minute hand although antique.
