Late Victorian Carved Oak Mantel Clock

Description

A small solid Oak timepiece mantel clock. It has an architectural top with three turned wooden finials, and a carved front door and base. The brass dial has corner spandrels and a silvered chapter ring, which is signed by the original retailers, JW Benson, Ludgate Hill, London. It has an day pendulum movement made by W&H (Winterhalder and Hoffmier).(Germany, c. 1890)

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.

20.00cm wide 30.00cm high 14.50cm deep (7.87 inches wide 11.81 inches high 5.71 inches deep)
