Description

A vintage 1950s gents hand winding wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding 17 jewel movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is unsigned.

The watch measures 32.2 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 40.8 mm high including the lugs. The case is gold plated although most of the plating has worn off over the years to reveal the base metal. The case back is stamped stainless steel back, antimagnetic and waterproof although with any vintage watch I would not rely on it being waterproof.

The lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed waterproof, 17 jewels. The dial has light surface scratches / marking although it has a good vintage look.

The watch has its original hands.

The watch has a new black leather strap.
