Gents 1950s Rone Sportsmans Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Rone Sportsmans wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Rone Sportsmans.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs; it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist or it could be worn by a lady. The case has some surface marking but overall is very acceptable for its age; the snap-on case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed Rone Sportsmans, Swiss Made. There are some fairly minor marks but overall it has great vintage appeal. Original hands, subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
