The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
They were one of the many companies that used movements made by A Schild.

This particular watch has a Swiss A Schild automatic movement, with 25 jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours.
The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is rose gold plated and whilst there is a little wear and marking, overall the condition is very nice for a 1950s piece. The screw-on case back is stainless steel. It states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, I would treat it as being such.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed Altair, Automatic, 25 Jewels, AntiMagnetic, Incabloc, Swiss. It is in super condition with original hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
