Gents Vintage Allaine Automatic Watch, 1950s

1940 - 1960
Description

A charming gents 1950s Allaine wrist watch in lovely condition.

The watch has a Swiss automatic movement, with 25 jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is rose gold plated and the condition is good with just light surface marks. The screw-on case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed Allaine, 25 Rubis, Automatic, Incabloc, Waterproof, Unbreakable Mainspring, Swiss Made. It is in super condition and has dauphine shaped hands, raised numbers and markers, and a centre seconds hand.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
