Description

Antique gold plated English lever pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped Made in England and numbered 862321.

The watch measures 50 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is stamped Windsor Guaranteed 20 years B.W.C.Co (British Watch Case Company). The case has light surface marks from use and the odd tiny "ding" but otherwise it is in nice condition. The inner dust cover has light surface scratches and the odd minor "ding". The back case hinge has some play in it although it opens and closes as it should.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The dial is signed English Lever. The dial has faint hairline cracks but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original hands. (the sub second hand is possibly later)
