Vintage 1920s Cyma Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s Cyma pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, with seven jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Cyma. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is in good condition for its age with a minor shallow indentation to the case back, and light general surface marks.

The watch glass has the odd minor mark but is very acceptable.

The enamel dial looks good to the naked eye; there is a very faint hairline crack but it is not very noticeable to the naked eye.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
