The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The movement is stamped 17 jewels, 3 adjustments, Swiss made.

The watch measures 34.6 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 43.3 mm high including the lugs. The gold plated case has light surface marks from use and light wear to the edges but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back is stamped Candino, stainless steel back, supershock resist, antimagnetic, waterproof, cased and timed by Swiss precision watch craftsmen. The case back has waterproof on it although with any vintage watch I would not rely on it being waterproof. The case back has a light surface scratch across it and light surface marking.

The lens is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Candino, 17 jewels, unbreakable mainspring with Swiss at the bottom. The dial has light discolouring and some wear to the text although it has a good vintage look.
The watch has its original hands.
The watch has a new black leather strap.
