Gents 1940s Swiss Hand Winding Wrist Watch

Description

A vintage 1940s gents Swiss wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped 15 fifteen jewels unadjusted, Swiss made.

The watch measures 33.6 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 41.7 mm high including the lugs. The case has a nicely aged look great for a vintage watch. The case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in nice condition.

The dial is stamped 15 jewels with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has faint surface marking but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch has a new black leather strap.

Price includes free worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
