Antique 1903 Elgin gold filled fob watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Elgin Nat'l Watch Co, U.S.A. and numbered 9960499 which dates the watch to 1903.

The watch measures 35.6 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The gold filled case is stamped C.W.C.Co, trade mark. Crescent, Warranted 25 years. The case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back has monogrammed initials and the inner dust cover has 1902 on it.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Elgin. The dial has a faint hairline crack but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
