Heavy Antique Silver Pocket Watch Chain

Description

A heavy antique silver pocket watch chain.

The chain measures 33cm long including the T-bar and the clasp, and it weighs 106.9g in total.

Each of the graduated links has the lion passant silver mark. There is a maker's mark on one of the links but it is very difficult to read. The T-bar is hallmarked for Birmingham 1897 with a maker's mark for the Birmingham silversmith Herbert Bushell.

The chain comes with a 1920s silver fob medal awarded to F J Kingscott, Solo Tenor, 1923.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
