Gents 1961 Omega Presentation Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1960s Omega wrist watch.

The watch has a calibre 268 hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute over 24 hours. The movement is signed Omega, Swiss, 17 Jewels, and it has the calibre 18,444,442 which dates it back to 1961.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel steel and the condition is good with just the odd minor mark. The back of the watch has a presentation engraving from The Church Times. The winding crown has the Omega logo.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial has been professionally re-finished and it looks very good.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
