Good Quality English Fusee 8-Day Wall Clock

Description

A good quality mid/late 19th century ENGLISH WALL CLOCK by Lawson & Son of BRIGHTON.

The solid case is of good "honey" coloured mahogany with cast brass bezel, whilst the flat dial retains its original painting in good condition, though the name is a little rubbed. The eight-day movement is fusee driven and in full working order. Good value. Dial 12ins diameter.

*Lawson & Son are recorded working in Brighton from 1839-1862, the son carrying on the business on his own from 1870-1878.
