Vintage 1920s Gold Plated Limit Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

A vintage 1920s Limit full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Limit, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.5 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The gold plated case is stamped 'Star 10 year, Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd, English Make, This case guaranteed to wear 10 years'. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks and a little rubbing from use, together with a couple of small scratches to the back cover back cover.

The front cover opens to reveal the dial signed Limit with Swiss Made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition and it has its original hands.

The watch lens is glass and is in good condition.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
