1930s Roc Lever Hand Winding Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A vintage 1930s Roc lever wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Roc lever, 15 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch was originally made as a gents watch although it would suit a slimmer wrist and it would also work as a lady's watch. The watch measures 27.3 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30.6 mm high including the lugs. The case was made by the Dennison Watch Case Co and is stamped Denisteel (An early form of stainless steel) and Made in England.

The lens is in nice condition.

The dial two tone dial has raised Arabic numerals and has Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has some discolouring although it has a great vintage look. It has its original blued steel hands

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
