Description

A vintage 1920s Record Dreadnought pocket watch.

The pocket watch has a good quality stem-winding movement, signed Record Watch Co, 17 Jewels, 4 Adjustments, Swiss made which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around five minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 48.3 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold filled case is stamped 'U.S.A. Warranted B&B Royal 20 years, Guaranteed to be made of two plates of solid gold with plate of composition between and to wear 20 years'. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use.

The lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Record Dreadnought with Swiss Made at the bottom. The dial has some wear to the Dreadnought text but otherwise it is in nice condition. It has its original blued steel hands.
