The high grade movement is stamped R,Gilbert & Sons, Coventry & Barrow, Makers to the Admiralty.

The watch measures 48.3 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case has Chester hallmarks for 1900 with the case makers mark J.F. The case is in nice condition and only has light surface marks from use.

The watch lens is glass and has the odd minor mark to the outer edge but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is signed R.Gilbert & sons Coventry, Makers to the Admiralty. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The watch has its original blued hands.
