Vintage 1920s Thomas Russell Premier Pocket Watch

Description

A vintage 1920s Thomas Russell & Son Premier stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to around three minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped Thomas Russell & Son, Liverpool, Premier, 7 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 51.2 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is stamped Silvernus with the Thomas Russell wheel. The case has light surface marks from use but is very acceptable for its age.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Tho Russell & Son, Premier with Swiss Made at the bottom. The dial has a small nibble under the bezel at 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition. It has its original blued steel hands.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
